ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA – A rear-end collision late last Saturday, November 2, in Monroeville claimed the life of a woman and left three other people hurt, reports WTAE.
The fatal accident took place in the 3700 block of William Penn Highway just after 11:55 p.m.
According to Allegheny County police, the woman was a passenger in a Nissan Pathfinder that struck the back of another vehicle.
First responders pronounced the woman deceased at the scene, and three other people were rushed to a local hospital in stable condition.
While it was not immediately clear what led up to the crash and no charges have been announced, an investigation remains underway.
