NORTH VERSAILLES, PA – Authorities shut down a roadway in Allegheny County on Tuesday afternoon following a rollover accident involving a tractor-trailer, WTAE reported.
Fire crews reported that the driver of the 18-wheeler was traveling on Greensburg Pike in North Versailles shortly before 3 p.m. when the vehicle flipped near Kline Avenue. The driver was injured and transported to an area hospital, but no details were released on the person’s condition.
Greensburg Pike and Kline Avenue remained closed for several hours while first responders worked to clear the wreck. The circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear.
