1 Driver Killed, 1 Injured After Vehicles Collide On Westbound Interstate 376

LAWRENCE COUNTY, PA – Pennsylvania State Police have released details of a fatal collision that occurred in Lawrence County on Tuesday morning, WTAE reports.

The two-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 376 near mile marker 8.9 shortly before 8:30 a.m.  According to a preliminary investigation, a driver lost control of her vehicle while heading east on I-376 and went through the median.  The car then crashed into a vehicle that was traveling in the westbound lanes.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 41-year-old man from Greenville, Pennsylvania, was killed in the wreck.  The driver of the first car, a 26-year-old woman, was seriously injured and taken to an area hospital.

The accident remains under investigation by State Police.
