PITTSBURGH, PA – A two-vehicle crash in Pittsburgh’s Shadyside neighborhood sent one person to the hospital Tuesday morning, authorities reported.
According to WPXI, the incident occurred at the intersection of Fifth and Shady avenues, a busy crossroads in the East End, during the morning commute.
Witnesses at the scene described a collision between a pickup truck and a passenger car. The pickup sustained significant damage to its passenger side, while the car suffered extensive front-end damage.
First responders confirmed that one individual was transported from the scene to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries and their current condition were not immediately available.
