1 Killed, 1 Injured in Crash Near North Fayette Township Intersection

ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA – A 57-year-old Oakdale man lost his life early Monday following a collision in North Fayette Township that left another person injured, according to CBS News Pittsburgh.

The accident occurred on a stretch of Noblestown Road near Sturgeon Street, shortly after 2:00 a.m.

Authorities have not released a statement regarding the circumstances of the event, but the Oakdale man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

One other person was rushed to a local hospital for unspecified injuries.

Following the crash, crews had a section of the road shut down for hours to accommodate an investigation.

No pending charges or citations have been confirmed at this time.
