HARMAR TOWNSHIP, PA – A car wreck in Allegheny County on Saturday morning sent two people to the hospital, reports WTAE.
First responders were called to the 2000 block of Freeport Road near Alpha Drive E in Harmar Township after the incident occurred at about 10:30 a.m. Two people were trapped inside a vehicle involved in the crash.
They were extricated from the vehicle and transported to an area hospital. No information was released on the extent of their injuries.
The northbound lanes of Freeport Road were closed in the area while emergency crews were clearing the scene. Two vehicles were reportedly towed away.
