Authorities Respond to Fatal Collision on US 119 in Salem Township

SALEM TOWNSHIP, PA – A fatal vehicle crash was reported Friday morning on U.S. Route 119 in Salem Township, according to WPXI.

The accident happened in the 3000 block of the highway, and at the time of WPXI’s report at 9:27 p.m., Pennsylvania State Police were investigating.

While the events leading up to the wreck have not been shared with the public, at least one person died as a result.

A section of Route 119 was closed from Route 22 to Latrobe Crabtree Road for the emergency response.
