PITTSBURGH, PA – Multiple vehicles were involved in a collision Thursday afternoon on Interstate 376 in east Pittsburgh, according to 511PA Pittsburgh.
The accident impacted the eastbound lanes of I-376 about .6 miles east of Forbes Avenue (Exit 72A), in the city’s Oakland area. It was first reported shortly before 3:50 p.m.
Few details have been released at this time, but at least one travel lane was blocked as a result of the wreck.
By 6:53 p.m., three hours later, the closure remained in place, suggesting a major crash.
