Driver Injured In Car Crash Along Northbound Route 28 In Aspinwall

ASPINWALL, PA – A car accident northeast of Pittsburgh sent a driver to the hospital on Saturday morning, TribLive reported.

Southern Allegheny Valley Emergency Services responded to the scene after being notified of the incident shortly before 7 a.m.   A car was involved in a crash on northbound Pennsylvania Route 28 at Exit 7 in Aspinwall.

The driver was taken to an area trauma center with undisclosed injuries.  No other vehicles were involved, and no other injuries were reported.

The exit was temporarily shut down while emergency crews worked to clear the wreck.
