CENTER TOWNSHIP, PA – A vehicle crashed into the front porch of a home in Beaver County in what police suspect was a drunk driving incident.
According to CBS Pittsburgh, the driver of a Jeep Cherokee was traveling on Center Grange Road Monday afternoon when he drove off the road and collided with the porch at about 4:30 p.m.
The homeowner was in the living room at the time but she was not injured. The home’s porch collapsed, and the Jeep had extensive damage.
The driver of the Jeep was taken to Heritage Valley Hospital, where a test showed that his blood alcohol content was over twice the legal limit. He was expected to be charged with driving under the influence.
