Fire Crews Called After Car Crashes into Wilkins Township Creek

ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PA – A vehicle came to rest partially submerged in a Wilkins Township creek Monday morning following a collision, according to WTAE.

The accident took place in the 600 block of Brown Avenue and was reported some time after 7:49 a.m.

While officials have not indicated what caused the wreck, first responders with the Wilkins Township Volunteer Fire Company arrived on the scene to find significant front-end damage to the involved vehicle, which also had its trunk in the body of water.

Despite the nature of the incident, no information regarding potential injuries has been released.

Motorists were instructed to find alternate routes around the area as crews worked to process the scene.
