HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP, PA – Police in Aliquippa announced the arrest of a suspected drunk driver, according to Beaver County Radio.
27-year-old Raishaun Jeter of Aliquippa was taken into custody following a crash Dec. 27 shortly before 11 p.m. at Main Street and Maratta Road in Hopewell Township. A Pennsylvania state constable noticed that a blue Chrysler 200 had struck a utility pole and a fence. The constable notified police that the car was stolen and the driver had been holding a liquor bottle.
Police later arrested Jeter in connection with the accident after noticing signs of impairment. His blood alcohol content was measured at .135%.
Jeter is facing several charges, including driving under the influence, hit-and-run, careless driving, and driving while having a suspended license.
