Man Charged With DUI After Vehicle Crashes In Hanover Township

HANOVER TOWNSHIP, PA – An alleged drunk driver has been charged following a single-vehicle accident in Hanover Township on Friday morning, Beaver County Radio reported.

The crash happened in the area of 1457 Lincoln Highway at about 6:24 a.m.   Pennsylvania State Police in Beaver said that the driver, a 37-year-old man from Hookstown, crossed into an oncoming lane and struck a shrub bush.

The man suffered minor injuries in the incident.  State Police said he was suspected as being heavily under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently charged with DUI.
