PITTSBURGH, PA – Police and first responders were dispatched to the scene of a car wreck in Pittsburgh Tuesday morning, according to WTAE.
The single-vehicle accident occurred on Bigelow Boulevard at Herron Avenue at about 9 a.m. Authorities said a man was ejected from his car in the crash, and was transported to an area hospital. He was listed in stable condition.
The incident led to the closure of Bigelow Boulevard at Herron Avenue for several hours while the scene was being cleared. Pennsylvania Department of Transportation crews worked to repair guardrails that were damaged.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the crash.
