PITTSBURGH, PA – A multi-vehicle collision on the Parkway East in Pittsburgh sent five people to the hospital Tuesday evening, authorities reported.
The incident occurred in the outbound lanes approaching the Squirrel Hill Tunnel at approximately 9:25 p.m., according to WTAE.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the crash was reported. Five individuals were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. As of late Tuesday night, the extent of their injuries and their current conditions had not been disclosed.
