Pedestrian Fatally Hit By Vehicle on Freeport Rd in Harrison Township

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, PA – A man in his 70s died last Friday evening, November 8, as a result of a pedestrian collision in Harrison Township, according to WTAE.

The incident happened on Freeport Road at California Avenue. Allegheny County homicide detectives and emergency crews were dispatched to the scene just after 6:15 p.m.

While an investigation remains underway, the victim, who was struck by a vehicle, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The involved driver stayed at the site following the crash and cooperated with officials. No charges or citations were immediately reported.
