PITTSBURGH, PA – One person was injured Sunday night, December 1, as a result of a collision in Pittsburgh’s South Side Slopes area, according to WPXI.
The incident occurred in the 2100 block of South 18th Street and prompted a response from Allegheny County police, firefighters, and medical personnel at around 8:30 p.m.
Preliminary details show a pickup truck sustained damage to its front end, and the front driver’s side door of a car was so badly damaged that it had to be removed. At least one of the vehicles also had to be towed from the crash site.
First responders confirmed that one patient was transported to an area hospital, but the severity of their condition has not been disclosed.
An investigation remains underway.
