SUV Driver Loses Control On Icy Road, Crashes Into Pittsburgh Home

PITTSBURGH, PA – A driver crashed into a home in Pittsburgh on Saturday afternoon during slick road conditions, WPXI reported.

The incident occurred at about noon on the 600 block of Parkwood Road in the Arlington neighborhood.  It was captured by a doorbell camera.  The video showed that an SUV slid on the icy road, narrowly missed another sliding vehicle and then struck a residence, leaving a hole in the facade.

There were no immediate reports of injuries, but a gas meter was damaged in the accident.  A Columbia Gas crew came to the scene to shut off gas to the property.

The crash remains under investigation by Pittsburgh police.
