PENN TOWNSHIP, PA – A rollover car accident in Penn Township on Tuesday morning left the driver hospitalized, TribLive reported.
Authorities learned that the motorist was driving on the Pennsylvania Turnpike when the crash took place near mile marker 60 at about 8:20 a.m. The man’s vehicle went off the roadway, crashed through a fence, hit a tree and overturned.
The driver was extricated from the vehicle and transported to Forbes Regional Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. The man, who was wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident, was listed in stable condition.
Penn Township Ambulance, Harrison City Volunteer Fire Department, and turnpike officials all responded to the site of the accident.
