ALLEGHENY TOWNSHIP, PA – First responders were called to the scene of a fatal car wreck in Allegheny Township late Sunday night, reports TribLive.
The accident took place shortly before 11 p.m. along Pennsylvania State Road 356. According to the Westmoreland County Coroner, a driver going south veered into the center median and went off the west shoulder of the roadway. The car then went up an embankment and overturned.
The driver, a 29-year-old Allegheny Township woman, was pronounced dead about 90 minutes later. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. No one else was in the car.
