EAST FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A woman was killed Thursday afternoon after being ejected from her vehicle during a collision on Route 422 in Armstrong County, WPXI reports.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Route 422 and Glade Run in East Franklin Township at a about 3:30 p.m.
The Armstrong County Coroner’s Office said that another driver pulled onto Route 422, clipping the woman’s car. The impact caused her vehicle to roll approximately 400 feet.
The woman succumbed to her injuries after she was rushed to the hospital. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
Investigators are working to establish an official cause of the deadly crash at this time.
